Created in conjunction with a live orchestral performance of Stravinsky’s controversial “The Rite of Spring,” this endurance performance echoes the original themes of the score, taking place over 3 hours. Summoning the obsessive tasks associated with creation and the strange symmetry of a predatory act wrapped in loving rapture, the two performers slowly transform into a unified whole.
