We Gather by Night and are Consumed by Fire
We Gather by Night and are Consumed by Fire (pt. 1)
Collaboration with Matthew Mark Bourree
On the coldest night of the year, a revolving sculpture was ceremonially set ablaze with a rainbow flame, using fire as symbolic medium to destroy the rigid structures that obstruct evolution. Loosely based on the supernatural story of the burning bush, the performative sculpture cites cycles of life and light, through its creation and subsequent destruction.
